Support the DataBank

The African DSI DataBank lets African institutions host, govern and share their own biodiversity and agricultural data, while keeping full custody of it. It was built without an external research grant. To give it a permanent home, we're seeking support for a specialised African Union agency for DSI to sustain it.

Four ways to help

1. Endorse it, as an individual or an organisation, under your name or anonymously (form below).
2. Send a letter of support: download the template (Word), adapt it, sign it on your letterhead and send it, for example to the African Union Commission or your national focal point.
3. Make an introduction to your national biodiversity or ABS focal point, your COP delegation, or an African Union contact.
4. Sponsor or partner with the DataBank.
